Where Promise Meets Progress
The GloryBush Foundation empowers individuals and communities through education and entrepreneurship, supporting their pursuit of a prosperous future. Established in 2003 as a family initiative by Sbonelo Mbatha and Zinhle Mbatha, the foundation initially focused on assisting deserving and underprivileged university students across KwaZulu Natal, South Africa with tuition fees. Over the past two decades, it has supported more than 30 students who have gone on to become qualified professionals in fields such as education, commerce, engineering, law, and others.
Since 2022, the Foundation has expanded its efforts to include career guidance, addressing a critical need for school-going learners. Their annual Career Guidance Expo, attended by over 700 learners, exposes participants to diverse career paths, enhancing their career awareness, educational planning, skill development, networking abilities, decision-making skills, motivation, and practical understanding of the working world. This comprehensive approach prepares learners for future success by empowering them to make informed career decisions and inspiring their career aspirations.
Additionally, the Foundation launched the Evolution of Entrepreneurship Development program to empower entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey. This initiative fosters innovation and sustainable business practices through networking, education, and support programs. Workshops, seminars, and business clinic sessions provide participants with valuable insights and access to a network of specialists across various sectors, supporting over 500 affiliates actively involved in promoting entrepreneurial growth.
